Milo was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia in 2009. Surgical treatment was postponed due to recurrent pyodermas secondary to atopy. After treatment of Milo’s skin problems, he was able to undergo staged total hip replacements. He received BFX cups and CFX stems, resulting in bilateral hybrid THRs. After recovery, Milo is now able to walk long distances, run, play, and interact with the rest of the dogs in his household.
