Zora is a Slovakian girl’s name, meaning sunrise or dawn, which is rather fitting for a wildfowler’s dog. Zora was presented with a four week history of right hind limb lameness that became evident following a period of strenuous exercise. Marked hip laxity and severe luxation visible on radiography explained lack of response to prior medical therapy. Zora is now unstoppable following joint replacement surgery.
