Barclay: Total Hip Replacement, Texas

“Barclay sustained a right capital physeal fracture after falling down the stairs at 6 months of age. He had limited right hip extension, muscle atrophy, and marked lameness prior to his surgery, all which required NSAIDs to manage his pain. After his total hip replacement, Barclay, nicknamed “Monkey,” returned to normal ambulation, good hip range of motion, and his happy, puppy personality. He loves to give face kisses and go on walks with his sister. Following completion of his walking plan at the end of July, Barclay is back to his normal activity, just in time for some hiking with his family in Colorado!”
