“Daisy was one of the first dogs to receive a Total Ankle Replacement at Sun Valley Animal Center. She originally presented with right rear lameness, non -weight bearing, and a tarsal effusion. Dr. Randy Acker removed an osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) lesion of the tarsus which, unfortunately, did not restore pain-free limb function. In March 2015, Dr. Acker performed a Total Ankle Replacement. Following complete recovery, Daisy has regained the use of her leg.”
