“Ciel was diagnosed with MPL (Medial Patellar Luxation). Surgery was considered necessary and Ciel was referred to our hospital one month after the first consultation at Fujusawadai Animal Hospital. Upon learning the advantages and disadvantages of FHO and THR, the owner wished for the dog to recover its motor function to a degree similar to that of healthy dogs, and selected Nano THR. Ciel started landing and weight-bearing two days after the operation. Post-operative radiographs showed a marked increase in the muscle of the affected femoral region comparable to that of the unaffected side. The owner is very satisfied with the results of treatment, and Ciel lives a full life at present.”
