“Digby was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia from the age of around 6 months. Hind limb function was severely impaired and Digby had learned to walk by performing ‘hand stands.’ Left total hip replacement resulted in improvement of function, but right hip pain remained limiting. Right total hip replacement was performed. Three months following the right total hip replacement, Digby’s owner was extremely please to allow him to run and play off the lead with the other dogs in the household for the first time.”
